EnsoMOSAIC for plantations

Oil palm and tree plantations should be monitored regularly from ground and air. Efficient airborne plantation mapping system enables identification of damaged or unfertile areas and insufficient irrigation as well as monitoring of risk caused by third parties.

EnsoMOSAIC imaging tools offer plantation organizations independency from service providers as imagery can be collected and processed according to their operative needs. A typical solution is to use traditional manned aircraft and medium format CIR camera, but imaging of smaller plantations or frequent monitoring portions of plantations can also apply UAVs, typically up to 2000 ha per flight.

Orthomosaics can be processed with EnsoMOSAIC software within hours after the flight for rapid monitoring and response. Mosaics are always GIS ready, thus palm, tree or stand delineation tools can be applied immediately after the mosaic creation. MosaicMill offers also EnsoMOSAIC 3D software for automatic tree and palm height measurements and for calculation of contour lines.
