CIR-converted cameras
The converted cameras are reconfigured and calibrated to optimize the captured images and to provide metric output. For high quality images it is essential to run the images through preprocessing software which optimizes the CIR output. MosaicMill is not developing cameras or sensors, instead our principle is
to trust that the professional photographic companies have the best solutions
for the image capture. As the camera and sensor development is fast the camera options change often.
We offer a service to convert standard digital SLR cameras to capture CIR and RGB instead of
the standard RGB only. The converted camera is provided with two lenses filtered to capture
RGB or CIR, thus on one flight it is possible to capture either CIR or RGB but not both.
